There are hobos sleeping in the Bus station garage in Lawrence, Mass. despite signs saying things like "No loitering". The LPD just observes this and drive in and out of the garage at night.
I will say this, they responded quickly, acted professionally, and handled the homeless people sleeping in the Bank of America ATM waiting area on Essex st with kindness. Response time under 3 min. A lot better than what I've witnessed in the past, with them not even showing up. So clearly positive changes are being made at the department... Or just plain old good cops working that tour that night...

They have a bad attitude when you call them. They don't seem to care about helping the people. Whenever you call them they make every excuse not to take your report seriously. They will even blame you for the situation! They definitely need to start working on creating better relations with the community! I can now see that part of the problem in Lawrence is because they don't care!
Lawrence Police Department have the most unprofessional officers who have nasty attitudes and are very rude and talk to u like ur trash!!! They need to look into who they trust in filling these positions when u don't feel safe in the community cause all these crocked nasty individuals that's a problem they ran up in my house without no propabile cause and swore at me talking very nasty to me for a music issue I am making sure I file a compliant with whoever I can I will go to the news paper and let the word be known they should all be fired and treated like they treat us in the community they are on a power kick and they definitely need to be smacked down a few 100 feet cause behind their badges they are normal citizens like myself!!! They disgust me more than I can explain in frustration I will make sure this gets dealt with!!
